Outreach and Service
St. Andrew’s is constantly seeking opportunities for outreach in our community and world.
In addition to developing our own projects, St. Andrew’s works with the Peoria Friendship House of Christian Service (FHCS) in our local neighborhood to help meet the needs of people in our area. On the 3rd Sunday of each month, we collect food items to be given to Friendship House. These items are brought forward to be blessed before being delivered to Friendship House. We also contributes to the emergency needs of those seeking help and support from Friendship House through an emergency fund.

St. Andrew’s also supports Nashotah House Theological Seminary in its efforts to train future priests of the Church. The Bishop Parsons Scholarship Fund was created to provide greater financial resources for seminarians with the large financial commitment a seminary program involves. The Archbishop Michael Ramsey Society for Lay Associates is a means whereby laity may become more closely involved with Nashotah House and support seminarians through the Bishop Parsons Scholarship Fund as well. God bless us all as we seek to love and serve the Lord!
